Another adidas adiFOM Superstar Arrives

The adiFOM is one of the most intriguing releases of 2023 so far. This futuristic reworking of the famed Three Stripes model is about as far removed from the OG among its countless permutations over the decades. But the essence of its ancestor is maintained as it offers a glimpse into the immediate future of footwear.
The longitudinal ridges of the ‘shell toe’ that defines the Superstar have been extended along the instep of the adiFOM Superstar, removing the need for laces. This slip-on design is also made possible by the sculpted foam upper, providing a close fit. The near one-piece shoe – it still looks like the sole is bonded to the upper, despite being the same material – is finished off by bold stripe branding and a matching heel tab. Having in OG white and black, this inverted black-and-white colourway was pretty much inevitable.
The adiFOM Superstar is available now directly from adidas in some global regions. Wider availability will likely come soon.
