OK, before we start, let's make one thing clear; we're huge fans of ACRONYM, Nike and Errolson Hugh's work on successfully reviving the ACG range. But seriously, what the hell were they thinking with these Lunar Force 1s??? When we first saw grainy photos of this zippered Uptown from our Saigon plug we were horrified, and with these high quality shots from Hanon, we can definitely confirm that even the best of us throw bricks every now and again. We saw how a technical, high-end fashion label can successfully reinvent classic Nike silhouettes last month when Sacai revealed their , but ACRONYM just totally missed the mark here. With Errolson Hugh continually working with Nike on ACG and other projects, we're happy to overlook this L as long as the fire keeps coming this year. If you ACRONYM fanboys still gotta cop, these are dropping later this week on the 9th of April.
