ACRONYM and Nike Announce Release Date for Blazer Low Colab and First-Ever Apparel Collection!

ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low
ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low

After leaked images, teasers from ACRONYM co-founder Errolson Hugh and UFC star Max 'Blessed' Holloway and the recent reveal of official images, the ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low has finally received a release date. What's more, it'll be accompanied by a full capsule of co-created apparel – the first project of its kind between ACRONYM and Nike.

Blazer Lows are set to release in 'Night Maroon' and 'Black', each of which modernizes the classic onetime basketball silhouette with technical embellishments like interchangeable heel cages (inspired by the ease of entry provided by FlyEase tech) plus a ripped-and-torn upper inspired by ghille suits.

As mentioned above, the collection's co-created tracksuits and soccer jerseys are the first pieces of ACRONYM x Nike apparel to be produced, even though Hugh served as the creative lead for Nike ACG from 2014 to 2018. Two woven tracksuits lead the apparel options, each of which's jacket features a side zipper that can be converted into a carrying strap and a breakaway front zipper. The Therma-Fit offerings supply a more standard tracksuit style but ACRONYM-ize it with ghillie-inspired stripes for a direct nod to the Blazer Lows. White and black branded soccer jerseys are made of 100 per cent recycled poly fibres with a woven crest and silicon wordmarks.

You can expect the ACRONYM x Nike Blazers and their matching apparel to release via Nike SNKRS February 10. Shoes are priced at $140, while apparel ranges from $90-$300.
