AAPE+ Reveal a New Sneaker Lineup for SS19

AAPE by haven’t been monkeying around — they’ve just unveiled a teched-up footwear lineup featuring streamlined low- and high-top runner options.

Looking mighty similar to , the high-cut Awakening EX (Element X) is inspired by machine block movement. Adopting a fashion-forward sock construction with utilitarian strap, the sneaker employs several ‘+’ symbols and a robotic, segmented midsole design for a futuristic aesthetic.

The low-cut Potential SS (Shadow Spirit) adopts a similarly progressive look, peculiarly inspired by kendo and the lacing of motorcycle boots. Decked out with a midfoot strap and speckled white outsole, the sneaker is polished off with branding hits aplenty.

AAPE+ by A Bathing Ape’s latest collection will be available at Shanghai Sneaker Con running from May 17–19, with a global rollout to follow on May 25. More release details to come!
