A Wild New Air Force 1 Appears
The Air Force 1 has seen some crazy remakes since Bruce Kilgore birthed it in the early 80s, but this is something else. Coming to you straight from the crazy-lab basements of Beaverton, this Air Force 1 takes the utilitarian vibes seen in 2016’s Special Field update and hacks away at them.
Leather layers have been replaced with canvas, the stash pocket on the tongue is gone, and the survivalist strap has been ditched too. This image shows the strap replaced with Home Depot-like rope – a wild accoutrement even for the Air Force 1. And while we’d like to see this unique number hit production, we have our reservations as to whether that will happen.
Nike haven’t piped up with any release info for this Air Force 1. If they ever do, we’ll let you know.
