A Detailed Look at the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 2

Update March 21, 2022: We now have detailed shots of the upcoming A Ma Maniére​ x Air Jordan 2 compliments of Instagram user @prvt.selection. The collaboration is scheduled to land on April 29.

The Whitaker Grp – a James Whitner-helmed retail empire that includes A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB and Prosper – had a hell of a 2021 thanks to Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3 and Dunk colabs that ranked among the year's best. Their Nike and Jordan Brand partnerships are showing no signs of slowing down in 2022 either, with an A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 2 and a Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 1 popping up. It's the first of those two silhouettes that's in sight today, owing to a recently-revealed set of on-foot photos from @yankeekicks.

A Ma Maniére's collaborative ethos is pure sport luxury. They're known to use rich colour schemes and elevated materials on their collaborations, and this take on Michael Jordan's second signature sneaker is no exception – following in the footsteps of their above-mentioned Air Jordan 1. Its premium cracked sail leather upper is offset by intricate snakeskin detailing on the black midsole, with rich touches of burgundy and a translucent heel counter adding further to the effect. The Air Jordan 2 is arguably the least-branded silhouette in the Air Jordan line's history, but here it's given a little spice by A Ma Maniére heel tabs and a large hangtag. A quilted satin collar lining rounds off the look.

Neither A Ma Maniére or Jordan Brand have confirmed a release date for this luxurious Air Jordan 2, but according to @yankeekicks (who's usually accurate in his release date reporting) it'll hit shelves on April 29 for $225.
