A Black Ballistic Nike Air Force 1 Is on the Way
When you have a model that’s been around for almost 40 years, like the , you’d think the folks at Beaverton would have run out of ideas when it comes to colourways. Thankfully, the exact opposite is true. And it’s precisely because of the enduring design that we’re still seeing new iterations release year in and year out.
Next up, we see the Uptown plied with the crowd-favourite black and red combination, upping the ante with textual variation throughout. Bringing life to the black-on-black build, tumbled and smooth leathers add contrast on the toe box, mudguard, and heel. Adding extra toughness, the midfoot and tongue wear black ballistic mesh, which does the double duty of adding a reflective element.
Finally, red hits on the heel, midsole and tongue bring the colour contrast.
