You won’t find many inline skates here on the e-pages of Sneaker Freaker, but for Clarks, we’re willing to make an exception.

Clarks have teamed up with Them Skates to create a pack of two Clarks Wallabees, plus two inline skate models, as part of one of the quirkiest collaborations we’ve written about in recent memory.

The new collection comprises two Clarks Originals shoes, the Wallabee Boot and Wallabee Cup Mule, plus two skates, the THEM 80s model featuring an 80 mm wheelbase and the THEM 909s with 58 mm wheels.

Speaking about the collaboration, founder of Them Skates Jon Julio explained, ‘The Wallabee runs deep in inline skating shoe culture. Just like in hip hop culture in the late nineties, the Wallabee was a staple shoe for the before and after skate lifestyle. Run it back to 1996, and you would see the Wallabee on many skaters and brand advertisements. Naturally, a collaboration with Clarks Originals and Them Skates was inevitable.’

All four designs can be pre-ordered from October 3 exclusively at Them Skates. The complete collection will be available from November 4 at Them Skates and SSENSE. In addition, both versions of the skates will be stocked by select skate shops worldwide at a retail price of $200.
