Sterling Ruby's S.R. STUDIO Unveils Marble-ous OTW Capsule

is not even 18 months old, and if it were a human baby, doctors would be clamouring in a coat-flapping stampede to study its prodigious creative development. Set up as a hub for experimental artistry in footwear, OTW and quickly announced a first collaborator in Sterling Ruby's S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. (and threw a ). Since then they've , , , , and more. Because three is the magic number, OTW have just revealed their third linkup with OG collaborator Ruby and his S.R. STUDIO.

The canvases on the easel are the Old Skool 36 and the Authentic 44, which – beyond their Vibram soles – remain completely untouched, construction-wise. That leaves the multi-disciplinary Ruby to really wield his paintbrush, and he doesn't let us down.

The capsule goes hard into Ruby's hi-vis aesthetic, spattering yellow and black in marbled patterns which look a bit like bound-book endpapers (or really fancy giftwrap). The liquid chaos is grounded by black laces with bright white S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. branding, a consistent hallmark across all of the studio's Vans colabs so far.

Beyond reimagining classic models with unexpected materials and spawning totally new silhouettes, OTW's dynamic collaborative force is unparalleled (especially for a mere kid in the game) – and much like their other linkups, this colab is likely to fly off shelves fast.

The S.R. STUDIO x Vans collection is all set to drop on August 21, with the Authentic 44 priced at $130 and the Old Skool at $150.
