The PUMA Stewie 1 ‘Four Time’ Celebrates Breanna Stewart’s UConn Career

NCAA Championships are the standard of success for the UConn Lady Huskies. As one of the powerhouse programs in women’s college basketball, great players have come and gone through Storrs, CT. One of the stars amongst stars, Breanna Stewart, left an indelible mark on the program, winning four consecutive NCAA Championships before getting draft #1 in the 2016 WNBA Draft.

With March Madness in full swing, PUMA is dropping a colourway of Stewart’s signature sneaker, the PUMA Stewie 1, in her alma mater’s colourway dubbed ‘Four Time’, in honour of her four National Championships.

In the UConn Huskies colourway, white mesh makes up the upper with red and blue accents. The PUMA Formstrip is outlined in red on the lateral side with the medial side showing off the Formstrip by way of ventilation holes. The external heel counter is seen in blue with a textured pattern with Stewart’s logo adorned on the tongue tag in grey.

The midsole features NITRO foam cushioning in white and grey with a milky translucent outsole featuring a scale-like pattern with the PUMA Big Cat and Stewart’s logo.

The PUMA Stewie 1 ‘Four Time’ is set to drop on March 17 for $125 via PUMA’s online channels and at select retailers.
