Today, becomes seventh signature athlete, following the likes of Luka Dončić, and Russel Westbrook.
With that announcement comes the all-new Tatum 1.
Uniquely conceived for both adults and kids, Tatum’s new Tatum 1 is the lightest in Jordan Brand’s signature lineup. Part of the shoe’s lightweight design is thanks to a ground-contact foam integrated into the traction pattern for an enhanced court feel. Stability and energy return are optimised via a prominent, uncaged Zoom Air bag in the forefoot, while the outsole features plate technology for quick transitional movements. Kids’ versions of the shoe feature a collapsible heel system for easy on-off entry.
Several personal mantras are included throughout the design as well, including ‘Living Proof’ and a nod to one of Tatum’s tattoos that reads ‘I Just Didn’t Quit.’
The Tatum 1 is set to debut in a suite of colourways that reference several personal stories close to Tatum, not limited to ‘Zoo’, ‘St. Louis ’, ‘Barbershop’ and ‘Pink Lemonade’.
The Tatum 1 ‘Zoo’ is available, in full family sizing, starting April 7.
