Thug Club Set to Launch Grungy adidas Superstar

South Korea is quickly becoming one of the top retail meccas in the world, with renowned brands like , , and opening flagships in Seoul. On top of all those big names emigrating over is a flourishing community of hometown indie brands, which sit at the forefont of trend setting in the fast-paced city. One of these is Thug Club, whose grungy club-kid vibes have permeated the global fashion elite. Now, the Seoul-based outfit is set to drop their inaugural collaboration, hosting a and apparel collection.
Thug Club went viral in 2021 when they customised adidas tracksuits with their signature metal logo detailing and mega back embroidery. We're betting these sets snatched some attention at Team Trefoil, and the Bavarians reached out with an offer of collaboration.
Thug Club’s take on the Superstar is pretty subdued; they've opted for a simplistic leather base layer covered in black and white hits. The star of the show is the heavily accentuated Shelltoe, and specialised tongue branding.
Thug Club have announced that their adidas Superstar and accompanying apparel collection will touch down on May 13.
