KidSuper Add a Minty Y2K-Aura Boot to PUMA Collection

Whoever says art and math don't gel has never encountered the brainchildren of designer Colm Dillane, who's the founder of Brooklyn streetwear brand – and the holder of a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. (Citation needed, but we'll believe most things about this man's genius.) The NYC native has worked with a kaleidoscope of musicians, athletes and brands, and proven his couture chops as guest designer of 2023 Fall/Winter menswear show. On the footwear front, there's one brand KidSuper holds particularly dear – – and shippers are rejoicing in the news that Dillane and the Big Cat are linking up once again for a new PUMA Brasil.
The KidSuper x PUMA love story is a many-splendoured thing, beginning in 2021 with that year's famed Suede featuring a pencil-holder . Other highlights include last year's and This most recent linkup hits the Brasil, a 70s model created for Brazil's most celebrated football savant: the late, great Pelé. Coming in two colourways – 'Dark Crimson/Alpine Snow' and 'Espresso Brown/Totally Taupe' – the silhouette demonstrates Dillane's mastery of material, with the nylon base peering out from behind artfully worn suede overlays, giving the whole remarkable depth. Both pairs feature contrasting white stitching and cursive 'KidSuper Studios' script on the lateral quarter, co-branded tongue tags, and gum soles.
In other good news, Dillane couldn't keep his hands away from the apparel side of the pitch – so expect a cascade of gear including vintage goalie jerseys, a puffer jacket with detailed stitching, and jerseys with watercolour prints.
The KidSuper x PUMA Brasil capsule is all set to arrive on August 30, with both sneaker colourways going for $130.
