The season is about to kick off, and the newly announced signatures just keep coming. While we might have spotted the on-court over the summer (they even appeared in a swanky for the Olympics), the Swoosh has finally announced the sneaker’s official release, as well as a look at all the techy details that the baller brings to the court.

The latest LeBron signature odes to the opportunities that present themselves when playing under pressure, with elements of the shoe designed to keep up with James’s agile and powerful playing style. That means the LeBron 22 is maxed out in terms of lockdown control, with a new midfoot construction that acts as a guardrail and a low-top build to keep athletes feeling grounded. That’s not the only stability-enforcing feature – in order to keep up with LeBron himself, the outsole has been given extra attention – traction zones have been meticulously engineered to keep up with jab steps, reverse pivots, take-offs and step backs. In addition, the LeBron 22 benefits from a super premium, lightweight build, and extra technical advancements in the form of Cushlon foam 2.0 and Zoom technology in the forefoot and heel.

The LeBron 22 is set to touch down in family sizes on November 1. The kid’s variation will feature a few tweaks, including the removal of the Zoom tech and a different outsole traction pattern. Hit the link below to secure your size on the day.
