Meet the New Nike Ava Rover

As we're continually inundated with retro products, it can be easy to forget that is a company built on innovation. The constant pursuit of ‘what’s next’ carried the Swoosh to heights that other brands could only envy – and creating new silhouettes is not passé in Beaverton. Several new designs have already rolled out this year with more still to come, and one such design has just been revealed: the Nike .

Seemingly built on the back of the the new Ava Rover comes in very on-trend. Post-pandemic consumers have prioritised street-ready comfort and the outdoors, and the Ava Rover caters to both of these – it is adjacent, and embodies the uber-popular runner style. The sleek upper is quite techy, with a minimalist design embellished by a pixelated graphic print. It rests atop a chunky ReactX midsole and thick trail-ready outsole.

This gorpcore-inspired model is begging to be paired with an jacket, and it will debut in three general release colourways. As Nike often does with new models, the Ava Rover will be kicked off with a collaboration: is debuting the model. Check out the official images of the inline pairs below.

The Ava Rover is uniquely positioned at the centre of the granola, techwear, and everyday comfort Venn diagram. The first colourway is scheduled to release on July 25, with the other two following close behind. Stay tuned for updates!
