The Nike Air Max 95 Ultra was introduced in 2015 – a full 20 years after the OG Air Max 95 was dreamed up and set free by designer Sergio Lozano – with the express purpose of offering the sleek style without the weight. That lightweight, Phylon-injected midsole is looking as svelte as a panther's tail, and the streamlined signature side panels hug the shoe's form shadow-close. The result is a truly minimalist masterpiece which embraces the 'Triple Black' aesthetic while allowing subtle touches of gray and blue to appear only briefly – much like candles in the wind, if you want to get lyrical about it.
