New Balance Made in USA Cooks Up 'Sweet Caramel' and 'Raw Cashew' Perfection With Latest 992s

The last few months have seen the making a strong return to the spotlight. Following standout projects with and (and a previewed colab with everyone's preferred readhead rapper ) it seems there is little the retro runner can't do. Under the Boston brand’s Made in USA division, the latest chapter sees the imprint unveil a duo of new in-house colourways – each with names just as sweet as the models themselves.

Echoing the from 2020, the 'Sweet Caramel' offering sports a beige base with rich brown suede overlays, while grey accents add balance to the silhouette. Its 'Raw Cashew' counterpart comes with a light brown upper, along with the same grey branding.

A key detail to note: while the model's official specs are still under wraps, retailer images show a smaller-sized pair, which depict the scaled-down 'N' logo. Why does this matter? Historically speaking, sizes 8.5 and below of this model feature the smaller 'N', while sizes 9 and up come with a larger logo, suggesting that this particular 992 will be little-foot-friendly.
