Joe Freshgoods Teases New Balance ABZORB 2000

Chicago's footwear flavour-maker is back at it with delivering yet another deeply personal project – this time via the all-new ABZORB 2000 silhouette. Teased on social media ahead of Paris Fashion Week, the collaboration is titled ‘Everything Comes From Pink’ and continues Joe’s signature blend of nostalgia and narrative design.
Colour-wise, Joe does what he does best: uses pink not just as an aesthetic cue, but an emotional one. Dusty rose, creamy beige, and soft lilac flow together to create a sneaker that feels gentle, lived-in, and thoughtful.
The ABZORB 2000 marks a fresh direction for New Balance in 2025. While clearly drawing from early-2000s performance models, the silhouette is entirely new, blending archival cues with cutting-edge engineering. It features a full-length ABZORB midsole paired with SBS pods in the heel for additional shock absorption. The upper combines ripstop mesh, shaggy suede, and synthetic overlays, sitting atop a sculpted, segmented sole that nods to NB’s running heritage while pushing into more expressive, experimental territory.
This latest project marks another chapter in a partnership that has already produced some of New Balance’s most memorable moments. From the to the Joe’s collaborations consistently balance style with storytelling, and cultural depth with community impact.
The collaboration is set to release via Every Now & Then from June 12 to June 14, with wider availability to follow.
