Need Some Guac with That? END. x Salomon Reveal XT-Whisper Void 'Avocado'

British retailer are tapping into every facet of British life. Since kicking off their 20th anniversary celebrations, the brand has visited everywhere from the to the humble , bringing with it various themed releases on the way. Fresh off a long line of link-ups, the streetwear outpost returns once again – this time taking cues from a very specific treat found at the greengrocer.

Enlisting the French label's Void, the colab centres on a brunch topping favourite: the avocado. Inspired by the fruit’s distinctive colour palette, combining 'Agave Green', deep black and light cream hues, the result is a gradient-style colourway that mimics the appearance of the snack once sliced.

Beyond its unique colourway, the XT-Whisper Void is packed with technical features. Salomon’s signature Quicklace system allows for fast and easy adjustments, while the upper is constructed from breathable 3D Mesh and an abrasion-resistant TPU material for both durability and a sleek, fluid design. The model also features mud Contagrip technology with chevron lugs on the outsole, providing support on uneven terrain.

Adding to the detailed design, the collaboration is rounded out by a pink OrthoLite sockliner that provides cushioning and breathability. A custom-printed insole finishes things off, featuring a custom avocado graphic and solidifying the duo's flavourful inspiration.

The END. x Salomon XT-Whisper Void ‘Avocado’ will hit shelves on August 15 through END. Launches and in flagship stores in Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester. An early release and themed installation will take place in London on the same day.
