Say 'retros', and the crowd will say ''' – no one does it quite like 'em. From the revived to the , 2025’s already been full of heavy-hitters, but now we've learned the Jumpman has saved one of the biggest for last – the return of the Air Jordan 8 'Bugs Bunny'.

First released in 1993, the Air Jordan 8 became one of Michael Jordan’s most distinctive signature models. Earning its name thanks to its memorable Hare Jordan campaign, the nickname stuck – and just as Bugs says, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship between MJ and the Looney Tunes gang.

Since its initial release, the 'Bugs Bunny' has seen several retro drops that's kept the hype alive across different generations. The first retro came in 2003, giving 'heads their first chance since the 90s to own the pair again. It was later re-released in 2008 as part of the Air Jordan 8/15 'Countdown Pack', and then again in 2013.

Sticking to its roots, the upcoming AJ8 is expected to feature a white leather upper paired with bold red and black detailing, according to early reports. Midfoot straps, a multicolour heel pattern and the chenille tongue patch all return: delivering the same bold, distinctive look that made the silhouette a standout in the Jordan line.
