The adidas Trinidad & Tobago Returns With a Taste of Island Life

are set to roll out the 'Island Series' once again, bringing back the Trinidad & Tobago silhouette first dropped in 2015. As an offshoot of the brand’s more metropolitan series (aka the 'City Series'), this upcoming model sticks to a near like-for-like rebuild, utilising the same materials and design details.

Arriving on the scene in the early 80s, the original 'Island Series' featured over 20 silhouettes named after various tropical-climate destinations such as Jamaica, Tahiti and Hawaii. Over the years the vacation-centric capsule has gained itself a loyal following amongst the terracewear community – alongside sneakerheads the world over – making it a standout in the Three Stripes' history.

New images of the upcoming Trinidad & Tobago model show a near-replica of the 2015 release, now updated with a gold-branded tongue tag. The design draws clear comparisons to the , featuring an all-suede upper, slim gum sole and serrated detailing along the stripes and eyestays.
