Nike MAGs Signed by Michael J. Fox and Tinker Hatfield Up For Grabs

Few sneakers have captured the imagination of the masses quite like the First introduced in Back to the Future Part II (1989), the self-lacing high-tops worn by Marty McFly were pure sci-fi fantasy – until Nike made them real! Now, an ultra-rare 2016 pair of Nike MAGs has surfaced for auction, and it’s laced with more than just tech.

As part of Goldin’s Spring Goldin 100 event, this particular pair comes in the original oversized display case and includes autographs from three people fundamental to the MAG mythos: Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly), Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown), and legendary Nike designer Rather than signing the shoes themselves, all three signed a clear panel built into the presentation box – preserving the sneakers’ pristine condition while adding immense collector value.

Originally limited to just 89 pairs, the 2016 MAG features Nike’s Adaptive Fit technology, allowing the shoes to auto-tighten – just like in the movie. Proceeds from the original release supported the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

With bidding starting at $50,000, this signed pair is expected to fetch an eye-watering sum.
