Turtle Power! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x PUMA MB.04 'Baxter Stockman’
Cowabunga, dudes! PUMA are back at it, expanding their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration alongside LaMelo Ball. Following the reveal of two TMNT-inspired colourways last year, we now have our first look at the PUMA MB.01 ‘Baxter Stockman’. This sinister design draws inspiration from the infamous mutant scientist and is expected to hit shelves in the coming months. Stay tuned to Sneaker Freaker for all the latest turtle-powered updates!
Fresh off his career high 50-piece against the Milwaukee Bucks over the weekend, LaMelo Ball continues to add a kaleidoscope of colourways to the PUMA MB.04 line-up, with the latest involving an official collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The subterranean hook-up involves two distinct colourways, each representing two of the legendary turtles.
The iteration for Michelangelo and Leonardo showcases hues of orange and blue, reflecting their respective bandanas, while the Donatello and Raphael colourway features purple and red tones – again paying homage to their signature bandanas. Both designs also take visual cues from the Ninja Turtles’ characteristic green skin, with oozing lime green overlays and outsoles. Finally, bandana-inspired tongue graphics and TMNT x LaMelo branding on the heels and insoles add a nice collaborative touch.
It’s not the only beloved cartoon series getting love from Melo and the Big Cat. Just last week, we also saw the trippy Scooby-Doo inspired version of Melo’s signature shoe. Zoinks!
