Off The Hook X Vans Vault Mid Skool '77 LX (Deli Edition)
Philadelphia might have the cheesesteak, but north of the border, the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich reigns supreme. Tapped for a collaboration with Vans' premium Vault division, the crew at Off The Hook jumped at the opportunity to immortalise their city's signature dish in the form of a 'Deli Edition' Mid Skool '77 LX.
The special make-up features a lightly distressed, rich burgundy leather upper reminiscent of the sandwich's key ingredient – its succulent cured beef brisket. Distressed premium leather in lighter shades of burgundy adorn the toe and heel, a nod to the 'lean, medium, or medium fat' conundrum that is often debated by the sandwich's biggest fans. To complement the meat, the shoe is equipped with a rye bread-inspired brown leather jazz stripe and a waffle sole in deep mustard yellow. Three sets of laces are included to allow you to finish your meal: a mustard yellow, a mayonnaise white and a coleslaw green.
