The SF Air Force 1 is a functionally driven shoe. Wrapped in clasps and closures, the high-reaching silhouette is all about utility. In the past, this traditionally meant that such a sneaker stuck to no-nonsense colourways. Black, white, and navy blue make-ups of the SF AF-1 have abounded – some with the addition of a gum sole – but this ‘Desert Camo’ drop is the first time the shoe has taken a walk on the wild side. Lively patterning distinguishes the heel on this one, but, being camouflage, it adheres to the purposeful nature of its predecessors. Whether people want to wade these down marshes or strut them down catwalks, this SF AF-1 is going to be a hot ticket item.
