Mizuno have just stepped into new territory with the launch of their very first football boot. Debuting as part of their FW25 Sportstyle lineup, the new Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo sees the Japanese brand merge two of their most storied silhouettes into one bold statement piece.

Bringing together the legendary Morelia football boot from 1985, and trademark Wave Prophecy tooling first introduced in 2011, the resulting Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo blends archival design with future-facing style. In terms of details, the upper features soft, quilted K-leather, curved stitch lines and a boot-like profile drawn from the original Morelia. Underfoot, aerated wave plates create a layered sole structure, offering both cushioning and stability.

To mark the release of the Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo, Mizuno have launched a global campaign set in São Paulo, a city renowned for its deep football heritage and dynamic street culture. The launch celebrates the silhouette’s legacy, highlighting its combination of sport and style in a city where love for the Beautiful Game runs deep.
