adidas are getting ready to inject new energy into Anthony Edwards' signature line. As the AE 1 Low nears the end of its run, the brand are turning to one of their most influential collaborators – CLOT – for what looks to be the silhouette’s first major co-branded release.

Edison Chen’s recent interest in Anthony Edwards’ line has been pretty visible – the multi-hyphenate Hong Konger and co-founder of CLOT has rocked various iterations of the AE 1 at events, also popping up courtside at Wolves games. Rumours started swirling after images surfaced of Chen spending time with Anthony Edwards, and in turn, Edwards has been seen wearing CLOT x adidas releases throughout the season – most notably the silk Gazelle and co-branded Superstar during his tunnel walks.

As for this collaborative edition, the AE 1 Low is reworked with a blue-flamed theme that takes over the outer support wing in a gradient finish. Structural elements like the toe cap, eyestays and sockliner arrive in jet black for contrast. Tongue logos are mismatched – CLOT’s insignia on one, Edwards’ tree-ring graphic on the other – while the full-length Lightboost midsole comes in a unified shade, blending effortlessly with the rest of the look.
