UPDATE: The next generation EQT is arriving on from Herzogenaurach, packing all of the modern luxuries that adidas have to offer. The new EQT Support 93/17 will be released on January 26 so start drawing up your battle plans – these probably won't be easy to snap up.
Last week at the celebration of creativity that is Art Basel, adidas released their new Boost-bearing EQT line. For their summer range, adidas have tweaked the original EQT design with aggressive lines to make a shoe that's defiantly modern. An overture to EQTs of days gone by is present in vinyl branding and TPU supports – but the sockliner has been built in OrthoLite mesh, and the midsole has been completely re-worked. Contoured Boost sole is the pièce de résistance for the 93/17, and comes with a flared slab of the energy-returning foam in a shape we haven't seen previously.
