The adidas Dame X ‘Lime Burst’ Is Fresh-Squeezed Heat

Damian Lillard’s 2025 campaign ended with a thud – a devastating Achilles injury which silenced the sharpshooter’s season and left fans wondering if Dame Time would ever strike the same again. But as always, Lillard’s bounce-back mentality is built different. And just as he starts plotting his return to the hardwood, adidas are fuelling the fire with the Dame X ‘Lime Burst’ – a kinetic jolt of energy that refuses to sit quietly on the shelf.

The Dame X is Lillard’s tenth signature shoe with adidas, and the ‘Lime Burst’ colourway is all gas, no brakes. Decked out in a retina-scorching combo of neon green, ‘Signal Coral’ and ‘Blue Burst’, the model features striped TPU overlays for structure, while Lillard’s logo on the tongue locks in the personal touch.

Performance-wise, the Dame X keeps things light on its feet. The upper’s breathable mesh keeps airflow steady when things heat up, Lightstrike foam underfoot ensures quick reactions and soft landings, and a grippy outsole preps you for perfect Dame-style step-backs.

In terms of adidas basketball more broadly, Team Trefoil have been stacking the deck lately, crafting themselves a lethal signature roster. Alongside Lillard, the Three Stripes are riding high with Anthony Edwards and his AE 1 line – a runaway hit thanks to its futuristic design and on-court performance.
