Chef Curry Is Cooking With the Curry Brand Series 7
As always, the NBA Playoffs are serving as a global runway for some of the freshest sneakers on planet Earth – and this week, all eyes were on Steph Curry as he debuted the latest evolution of his signature line: the brand new Curry Brand Series 7 from Under Armour.
According to sneaker insider Nick DePaula, the newest model draws inspiration from the current wave of high-performance running shoes. It’s packed with next-gen tech, including a new ultra-responsive foam midsole and a re-engineered spring plate for extra bounce on every drive. Visually, it’s one of the boldest Curry designs yet, with jagged lightning linework and a metallic sheen straight out of the Y2K playbook. For a personal touch, Curry even scrawled his mantra ‘I can do all things...’ on the midsole. And honestly, who’s going to argue with him?
Curry wasted no time in putting the Series 7s to the test, torching the Houston Rockets with a vintage performance. The two-time MVP dropped 36 points, dished out 9 assists, and pulled down 7 boards, powering the Golden State Warriors to a crucial victory and a 2-1 series lead. With momentum swinging back to the Bay, all eyes are on the Chase Center for the next matchup on April 28.
There’s no official launch date yet, but as always, keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates. For more heat on the NBA hardwood, don’t miss the buzz around Anthony Edwards’ hotly anticipated sophomore signature with adidas, the AE 2.
