Zion Williamson Teases Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Voodoo’

Zion Williamson may have been sidelined for the entire NBA season, but the Duke prodigy continues to light-up the sneaker industry with plenty of heat. Officially debuting the Jordan Zion 2 this week with the Jumpman, Zion’s sophomore signature sneaker will hit shelves in the ‘Voodoo’ and ‘Hope Diamond’ colourways, the model ostensibly drawing inspiration from heritage 1980s and 1990s hoops sneakers.

It looks like the eye-catching ‘Voodoo’ colourway will now make its way to the Air Jordan 1 Low, with Zion teasing a release via his Instagram account. Again taking its vernacular from religions of the African diaspora, the AJ1 Low is manufactured in a mix of hemp, canvas and suede materials. A voodoo skull is stamped on the heels, and the tongues are placed upside down – an allusion to a voodoo curse. Finally, exposed stitching emulates the classic aesthetic of a voodoo doll.

While no release details have currently surfaced, make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.

In the meantime, make sure to check out official release details for the Air Zion 2 ‘Voodoo’ and ‘Hope Diamond’.
