Check Out Zach LaVine's Custom Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Low 'Starfish'
Sneaker customizer Huy Le, the founder of LECHEF STUDIO, has caused quite a buzz lately with his inspired customs. By adding the delicately-pinned Swooshes, Helvetica text hits and off-centre tongue branding made famous by the late, great Off-White x Air Jordan 1s to other AJ 1s for a hybrid homage, Le has celebrity fans that range from to Chloë Grace Moretz – and his latest custom work was created for All-Star Zach LaVine. Though LaVine may miss the ASG with an ailing knee (a frustrating development as he's in the middle of the best season of his 7-year career) at least he'll have some ultra-fresh kicks to rock, as he commissioned Le to create a 1-of-1 pair of the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 Low 'Starfish'.
The shoe's base is that of the 'Starfish', but its details are entirely that of Abloh's Air Jordan 1, from the special Swoosh to the upper's stripped-back construction, extra forefoot eyestays, lateral quarter Helvetica text and all the other embellishments we've come to know and love since the first saw the light of day in November 2017.
