Check Out Zach LaVine's Custom Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Low 'Starfish'

Sneaker customizer Huy Le, the founder of LECHEF STUDIO, has caused quite a buzz lately with his Off-White inspired Air Jordan 1 customs. By adding the delicately-pinned Swooshes, Helvetica text hits and off-centre tongue branding made famous by the late, great Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Air Jordan 1s to other AJ 1s for a hybrid homage, Le has celebrity fans that range from LeBron James to Chloë Grace Moretz – and his latest custom work was created for NBA All-Star Zach LaVine. Though LaVine may miss the ASG with an ailing knee (a frustrating development as he's in the middle of the best season of his 7-year career) at least he'll have some ultra-fresh kicks to rock, as he commissioned Le to create a 1-of-1 pair of the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 Low 'Starfish'.

The shoe's base is that of the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Starfish', but its details are entirely that of Abloh's Air Jordan 1, from the special Swoosh to the upper's stripped-back construction, extra forefoot eyestays, lateral quarter Helvetica text and all the other embellishments we've come to know and love since the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 'Chicago' first saw the light of day in November 2017.
