And it looks like we owe all of our gratitude to his daughter North.

In response to her husband’s reveal tweet, Kimmy K said that the idea came about when she was trying to convince North to wear her Butter v2s by telling her they would glow in the dark. Not to have the wool pulled over her eyes, North turned off the lights to check and called her mum out on the lie.

Kanye heard the whole thing over speakerphone and, ever the doting father, said he’d make them for his daughter.
