Kanye West’s recent political rants and moves to make Yeezy more widely available don’t appear to have damaged the brand. In fact, it seems to be quite the opposite. According to a report by NPD Group’s Matt Powell, the Yeezy brand netted a huge 600% increase in sales during Q4.
Mr. West’s pledge to make Yeezy’s available to everyone appears to coincide with consumer behaviours, so expect the brand to continue to ramp up production in 2019.
