Kanye West and adidas’ Yeezy line hasn’t slowed down in 2022 and continue to bolster their catalogue with stacks of new models and colourways that exude the Kanye style that we’ve come to know. The duo are also employing a familiar sneakersphere strategy, retroing iconic Yeezys from the past such as the rumoured resurrection of the 350 ‘Turtle Dove’ which is apparently slated for a drop in August. Ahead of that alleged drop is the Yeezy 450 ‘Sulfur’ and it’s arriving this weekend at a slew of stockists.
Designed by Steven Smith, the ‘Sulfur’ chooses a tonally terrific yellowish look and rocks the same build to the previous releases. The whole upper is covered in an ultra-breathable PrimeKnit that’s partly made with recycled materials. Wrapped around the outside is the seven-pronged EVA foam cage which is a signature of the Yeezy 450. No BOOST on this bad boy, instead there’s an Ortholite insole providing maximum comfort.,
