With the dust beginning to settle on an action-packed All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, we’re finally getting a better understanding of adidas’ 2023 game plan.

For starters, Team Trefoil celebrated two of their All-Star poster boys with brand-new signature models. Damian Lillard laced the ‘Dame Extended Play’, while high-flyer Donovan Mitchell launched the D.O.N. Issue #5.

But that’s not all. James Harden also received a truckload of Harden Vol. 7 colourways, while the throwback Crazy IIInfinity leapt off the bench on the final day. Taking aesthetic cues from the adidas Crazy 1 (a sneaker recently reinvigorated in the hoops zeitgeist), the IIInfinity still retains the Audi TT-inspired vernacular known for its strong lines and bulky build. For the modern update, the lacing system is hidden beneath a zip-up shroud and debossed branding returns via the medial and lateral sides.

Fans of the adi hoops vault will also be pleased to see fresh Crazy 8 colourways, the crispy ‘Off-White/Sesame’ combination giving the model a completely different Mamba energy.

As always, make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates. And hit the link below to shop all the latest from adi’s Basketball collection.
