Jack Harlow Wears New Balance 650s in 'White Men Can't Jump'

The anticipated reboot of 1992's White Men Can’t Jump, starring Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls, is set to premiere on Hulu on May 19.

Hulu has just unveiled a short snippet of the film, showing Harlow and Walls, originally played by Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes respectively. In the 1992 version, fans of the film will recall Harrelson's character Billy Hoyle sporting a pair of Nike's Air Command Force, however in this latest refresh, Harlow's New Balance endorsement sees the Kentucky rapper rocking high-top 650s in a green and white color scheme.

The 650 and its cousin the 550 have been a boon for New Balance over the last two years, as sneakerheads have developed a fondness for both shoes' simple wearability, in addition to limited collaboration with the likes of Aimé Leon Dore.

While fans of New Balance and Jack Harlow will surely enjoy seeing the "Whats Poppin" emcee gracing the silver screen, purists may turn up their nose at seeing Harlow's character ,Hoyle wearing 650s in place of the nostalgic Air Command Force, a shoe which is in many way synonymous with the original movie.

The movie is set to debut on Hulu starting May 19, 2023.
