Where to Buy the Stussy x Nike Air Huarache 'Desert Oak'
Legendary Californian streetwear brand has experienced a massive resurgence as of late. Their 40th-anniversary celebrations last year saw epic, highly-sought-after garments plus a slew of sneaker collaborations. Most recently, they joined forces with once again, resurrecting their inaugural collaborative .
First seeing the light of day way back in 2000, it was originally designed by Michael Kopelman, founder of Gimme Five and one of the OG Stussy Tribe members, alongside Nike's Fraser Cooke. It kept the OG Huarache shape and was sold through the Stussy London flagship location.
Two colourways were created, Desert Oak/Reed/Light Straw and a Dark Olive/White/Varsity Maize/Ivory. After both colourways received a release on Stussy's webstore, the 'Desert Oak' variation has been chosen for a wider release.
