What better way to celebrate Day than with a massive plate of ‘Bacon’? Over the past year, news of the ‘Bacon’ retro has circled around the sneakersphere – first with rumours, then leaked pics, and finally now some official word.
Originally released in 2005, the AM90 ‘Bacon’ was a collaboration with the now-defunct Dave’s Quality Meat (AKA DQM) and is one of the most sought-after Air Max 90s of all time. It was originally meant to hit shelves last year, but just like many other anticipated drops, a ton of delays hit and now Air Max Day 2021 has been locked in for the release!
If you couldn’t already tell by the name, the ‘Bacon’ is inspired by everyone’s favourite breakfast meat. The colour combo consists of Sail/Straw/Medium Brown/Sheen and has been composed using a mix of suede and leather. Alongside this anticipated release will be multiple lace options, plus pink arch inserts.
