Where to Buy the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High ‘TurDUNKen’
Whenever link with boutique , they almost always make sneaker history. Creating legendary such as the ‘Purple Lobster’ and ‘Green Lobster’ in the past, we aren’t surprised that they’ve chimed into the 2020 Dunk renaissance conversation with an insane dubbed the ‘TurDUNKen’. Taking obvious inspirational cues from the Three Bird Dish AKA Turducken, it perfectly honours the season’s ‘Three Fs’ trifecta of food, friendship and football.
Taking a look at the exterior of the model, Concepts have used the Mallard duck as their main inspiration point and blasted it with a Rattan/Parachute Beige/Orange Chalk/Baroque Brown combination. The standouts would have to be the quarter panel and the use of laser-cut materials that replicate feathers and the mismatched coloured Swooshes. Down below, we’ve got the tonal orange midsole and outsole with a furry, textured rear panel.
If you were paying attention, and were lucky enough to cop your pair from the Concepts webstore on November 14, you would have gotten a special box that looks like an oven. Inside that special edition box, there were Nerf goodies replicating a TV dinner, chicken feet socks, and extra laces! Sadly, it was only available from Concepts.
