If you've been paying attention to the recent sneakersphere headlines, you would know that one of the most valuable and sought-after Air Max 1 collaborations from the early-2000s is returning. That's right, the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 'Kiss of Death' is back, baby!

Retro rumours circled in May last year, with none other than DJ Khaled confirming the drop. Originally released in 2006, the inaugural colab saw CLOT rework a 'NL' (No Liner) pair of AM1s. With luxe beige as the base, it was perfectly complemented by the snakeskin Swoosh and orange pops. The shoe definitely exuded early-2000s steez, especially with those completely translucent toe boxes. But that's not all, the colab also heavily referenced reflexology which is a popular practice in the East.

Years after the original drop, CLOT are gearing up for the re-release. It mostly looks like the OG 15-year-old iteration, except for a few subtle changes such as the reflective heel hits, toe box perforations, shoe box, and insole and outsole graphics. Nevertheless, it's looking as spicy as ever, and has been locked in for a wider release.

After hitting Juice Store locations and specialised pop-ups on February 27, CLOT were gracious enough to lock in a wider release on March 6. So far, only a few retailers have announced that they'll be getting pairs, but we're sure that more will come out of the woodwork soon. We'll be keeping you updated when more stores announce their release plans.

Good luck!
