Does this combo look familiar plastered on the AJ1? That's because it resembles the Grail-worthy 'Metallic Purple' iteration from the 80s. Sadly, it's not a one-to-one creation of that hard-to-acquire OG, but it could be the closest you'll ever get to an actual reissue.

We first saw this bad boy surface in the form of official pics, which were promptly followed by on-foot imagery. Leather makes up the majority of the upper, including the tongue which is usually crafted with nylon. The 'Court Purple' tone surrounds the ankle collar, Swoosh, and slightly smaller than usual Wings logo.
