Sneaker Freaker Magazine Issue 45

It’s that time of year again! The latest issue of Sneaker Freaker magazine is out now!

Were we able to follow-up on Issue 44’s huge 200-page spread? The answer: Hell yes, we were! Issue 45 has been smacked silly with all the freshest sneaker content, from enamouring interviews, crazy collaborative reveals, a technical trail-ready travelogue, heartfelt historical pieces, and all of the regular goodies you’ve come to expect.

This Issue’s cover star is the brand new collaboration between New Balance and Joe Freshgoods on the 990v3. We also caught up with the man himself to discuss this highly-anticipated follow-up to the ‘No Emotions Are Emotions’ project from 2020. Its a deeply personal project for the Chicago-based designer, and he isnt afraid to make a political statement in the process!

Also enclosed is the tale of New Balance’s first skate shoe, which involves an adolescent in 1987, Steven Smith building a skate-ready sneak, and them both meeting 30 years later. Additionally, we also head over to Camden, New Jersey, to visit the Shoe Kings, a shrine to vintage sneaker artefacts and game-worn Grails.

The largest highlight of Issue 45 is Happy Trails, an 80-page in-depth look at all of the trail-ready creps created for immersing yourself in nature. From Salomon to Merrell and HOKA ONE ONE to ACG, we explore all the main players in the outdoors game, and also sat down with collector and the DJ king of technical garb, Teki Latex, to have a meaningful convo on the topic.

Stores around the world are now stocked with Issue 45, and to help you scoop up your copy, we’ve curated another handy Where to Buy guide. Scope out a retailer in your local area down below. If you can’t wait, or don’t have a brick-and-mortar to go to, then the SF Shop is always open!
