What the Five Colourways of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 Might Look Like

In a sneaker world where even the smallest speculation is considered as groundbreaking news, speculation that Travis Scott has not one, but five Nike Air Max 1 colourways on the way is, in a relative sense, Internet shattering. Alas, in the interests of sneakerhead imaginations and the generally accurate musings of accounts like py_rates_, here is what La Flame’s trademark takes on the all-time classic AM1 might look like.

First teased on the Nike SNKRS app during Air Max Month festivities, a handful of details were more or less confirmed, which appear on the mockups above. The most significant detail, and one that Scott is revisiting, is the oversized backwards Swoosh, which appears on the lateral side. While only the lateral sides can be seen here, it’s likely the medial Swoosh branding will be in the regular orientation like the TS x Air Jordan 1 colabs. Expect ‘Cactus Jack’ branding and woven flat laces throughout.

The remaining details are similarly typical for the rapper’s efforts with Nike so far, employing sturdy materials such as leather and thick mesh rendered in earthtone colourways like brown and tan. These five AM1s do introduce some slightly more out-there hues for Scott, namely the lilac and duck egg blue against black.

All of this, of course, remains wishful thinking until official confirmation comes from the Travis Scott and Nike camps. Stay tuned for that eventual drop.
