Reebok have just tapped WESTERN HYDRODYNAMIC RESEARCH for a collaboration that drops this week.

Based in California, WHR has quickly built a following among both the streetwear and men’s fashion community thanks to their recognisable design language. Inspired by surf and beach culture, the Cali locals look to craft durable products that are meant to be worn day-to-day. Next up, they’ve linked with Reebok for a two-pack collaboration using the Club C and Beatnik.

‘We are honoured to be on Reebok’s roster of collaborators,’ said the brand’s founder, Pat Towersey. ‘We have been so excited to put our spin on the Club C 85, an iconic shoe that has been part of popular culture since the ‘80s, and of course the Beatnik, which is the perfect slide.’

WHR's Beatnik boasts a full-white upper with the signature build and navy straps with branding throughout. The Club C rocks a similar construction, with lighter toned upper and gum outsole. Both also host some recycled material touches.

The WESTERN HYDRODYNAMIC RESEARCH x Reebok collection will touch down in different stages. The Beatnik and Club C will both launch via the Cali brand’s webstore on February 9, but only the latter pair will see a wider release on February 16.
