Update September 28, 2023: Initially reported as a SB Dunk Low collaboration, sneakersphere insider @masterchefian has unveiled what looks to be a Welcome Skate Shop x SB Blazer Mid. A release has been rumoured to go down during the Holiday 2023 season. Stay locked for the official announcement.

2023 is coming to a close, and the sneaker rumour mill is churning harder than ever. There’s already plenty to expect from sneakers for next year, and now you can anticipate more on the collaborations front too, including curations from Nike SB. Among them is a potential collaboration from Welcome Skateshop Madrid on the Nike SB Dunk Low.

While details are currently scarce, this upcoming partnership may be looking to celebrate Madrid's skate scene and its contribution to the global sneaker community. Leaked photos are currently circulating the internet, with a zoomed in image of the tongue revealing gold co-branding. While the images don’t reveal too much, there’s likely more to be surfacing soon.

Both Nike SB and Welcome Skate Store are yet to confirm the potential collaboration, but if one thing's for certain, it's bound to garner a bunch of attention in the lead-up. If and when pairs are confirmed, you can expect them to arrive at select skate stores.
