Watch MJ Dish Out the Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ in Carolina
Michael Jordan is spreading some thanksgiving love in Wilmington, North Carolina, a town devastated by Hurricane Florence back in September.
Already donating $2 million to relief funds, His Airness today gifted Air Jordans to the young kids in the area, one box of which appeared to be the upcoming Air Jordan 11 'Concord' Retro. MJ also spoke of the reasons that brought him back to North Carolina.
‘I wanted to come back and see the city and see how things have progressed and see how things have been damaged. It’s a long road back, we know that ... that’s one of the reasons why I started the contributions. So, I mean, it’s going to take some time, but I think the spirit of Wilmingtonians are really strong, and obviously I’m one of them. So I felt the need to come back and at least lend that support to them.’
