PUMA Celebrate Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier in Latest ‘For All Time’ Video
are once again celebrating one of their foremost brand ambassadors and basketball legend that is Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier, in the latest video of the brand’s ‘For All Time’ series. Frazier is known as the very first NBA player to endorse a sneaker – the PUMA – and also won two NBA championships during his time at the New York Knicks.
This new video goes beyond the eponymous shoe and instead looks back on Frazier’s story, explaining some of the lore behind the larger-than-life character known for his skilful game and flashy dress sense.
‘When I look at my career, 40 years with PUMA, 40 years with the Knicks, as a player and a broadcaster, it is just overwhelming … when I look back on my life, I wouldn’t change anything.’ says Frazier.
Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier signed a lifetime deal with PUMA in 2018 after decades of endorsement. He’s also a member of ‘The Collective’, a group of ‘iconic Culture Influencers who have shaped the sneaker game over the last 50 years’, overseen by Roc Nation’s Emory Jones and PUMA basketball and classics creative director, Jay-Z.
