Official Images: Vegan Leather Reaches the Nike SB Dunk High
The reached astronomical levels of hype last year, causing ripples throughout the sneakersphere. In 2021, we think it will remain the same. We’ve already been hit with a couple of SB Dunk releases so far, namely the ‘’ iteration that had fans torn on its beautifully ugly look and epic backstory. Now, with sustainability in mind, Nike’s skateboarding division have blessed their Dunk High with a vegan-leather makeover.
Taking a look at the iteration, Team Swoosh have opted for the skate-ready SB Pro silhouette. Up-top we’ve been blessed with a vegan full-leather build in a ‘Baroque Brown’ tone that dominates the whole upper, while a white midsole down below provides support – as well as a touch of contrast alongside the green outsole. Matching green laces help to breakup the upper, with the Nike SB branded tongue label completing the look.
The vegan Nike SB Dunk High ‘Baroque Brown’ has no exact release date at the moment, but will be releasing at select skateshops around Asia, Europe and South America, such as SOUL Sneaker Boutique, throughout January and February. We’ll keep you updated if a wider release is on the way.
